What we collect, why we collect it, and how we look after it. Plain English — no legalese.

Last updated: April 2026

Who we are

Luton Airport Taxis is the trading name of A-B Sky Airport Transfers Ltd, a company registered in England. Our office is in Luton, Bedfordshire. You can contact us on 01582 490 490 or via the contact page.

What we collect

When you book with us, we collect:

  • Your name, mobile number and email address
  • Your pickup and drop-off addresses
  • Your pickup date and time
  • Your flight number, if you give us one (used to track delays)
  • Notes you add for the driver (e.g. baby seat requests)
  • Card payment details, if you choose to pay online — processed by Stripe (we never see or store full card numbers)

Why we use it

Solely to deliver and confirm your booking. Specifically:

  • To match you with a driver and a vehicle that fits your group
  • To send a booking confirmation, driver details and pickup updates
  • To track your flight and adjust the pickup time if it’s delayed
  • To handle payment, refunds, and any disputes
  • To get in touch if there’s a problem with your trip

Who we share it with

Only the people who need it to do the job:

  • Your driver — gets your name, mobile number, addresses and any notes
  • Stripe (payment processor) — if you pay online
  • Flight-tracking provider — if you provided a flight number, only the flight number is shared
  • HMRC and our accountants — for tax records, where required by law

We do not sell your data. We do not share it with marketing networks.

How long we keep it

Booking records are kept for 6 years to comply with UK accounting law. After that they’re deleted. You can ask us to delete your contact details at any time — we’ll keep only the minimum anonymised record we’re legally required to.

Cookies

We use a small number of essential cookies (booking session) and Google Analytics for anonymous traffic stats. We don’t use ad-tracking cookies and we don’t share data with social networks.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

  • See what data we hold about you
  • Have it corrected if it’s wrong
  • Have it deleted (subject to the 6-year accounting record above)
  • Object to us processing it
  • Complain to the ICO if you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled it

To exercise any of these, email us or call — we’ll respond within 30 days.

Changes to this policy

If we change anything material we’ll update the “last updated” date and post a notice on the home page for 30 days.

Questions

If anything here isn’t clear, just call us. We’d rather have a quick chat than make you read more legal text.
